Vice President Michelini & Director Perry
Support the preparation of the regular fiscal budget as the operating calendar dictates. Recommend adjustments to the operating budget with the Fire Chief and to the Board as necessary during the fiscal year. Manage the preparation of grant applications with assistance from subject-matter experts. Investigate new sources of funding for reliable district service and FFPD activities. Provide analysis of trends of funding and expenditures in the fire service and affiliated agencies.
Assets & Facilities Committee

Determine the going forward use of existing facilities for the operations of the district, identifying necessary replacements, or due to regulations or statutory requirements. Specifically, evaluate and recommend renovation, repairs or disposal of the Porter Garage and its use, producing a full financial analysis for possible actions. In a timely manner, develop appropriate agreements or policies with affiliated agencies or associations for non-district use of the buildings and properties. These recommendations may affect the district and its operations as may be directed by the FFPD Chief or other standing committees.
Strategic & Long Range Planning Committee

Represent the Fire District in exploring options for future potential mergers and/or consolidations, any development of a Municipal Service Review, Joint Powers Authority, Joint Operating Agreement or other interagency staffing and coordination agreements. Participate in local, state government and agency management and strategic forums, or panels that may impact the ability of FFPD to provide services for life-safety and fire suppression to the community.
